I'm a Theatre Major and I love acting too so here's one of my favorite monologues from one of my fave movies.

So for my third acting class at De Anza (20C, Shakespearean level), I chose to perform a monologue from Taming of the Shrew. This play is definitely my favorite Shakespeare play. It's so hilarious. In high school I played Biondello, but for my midterm I played Kate the "shrew". Hope you like it. I thought since I'm a Theatre major, I'd share with you another one of my passions besides singing! Last quarter my musical theatre singing class sang Seasons of Love from Rent!!! I love that song! ❤️ This was part of the final exam.

For my musical theatre singing final last quarter I had to edit my own mashup (an audition cut) of the two songs I worked on that quarter : When I Look At You from The Scarlett Pimpernell and Morning Person from Shrek. I got to choose which parts to sing ; the professor wanted us to edit our chosen sung sections based on our acting skill, and vocal ability. The first song has a very deep personal meaning to me and the second song is one I never once thought I’d be able to master. In essence , I’d be able to use these for future auditions for shows. Hope you like!
